HELLO TOMORROW ASIA PACIFIC SUMMIT 2023 AND
INVESTOR DAY ATTENDEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As a registered attendee of the Hello Tomorrow Asia Pacific Summit and Investor Day (“Summit”), you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions set out herein. The Summit is organised by Science & Stories Pte. Ltd. (the “Organisers”).
 
Lost Registration Badge: A registration badge will be issued to you upon your physical registration at the Summit. Your registration badge must be worn at all times during the Summit and access to the Summit’s facilities will not be granted to you if you do not have a registration badge. 
 
Attendee Conduct: You agree to abide by all fire, safety, and health regulations and any other requirements under Singapore law and by the National Gallery Singapore. You agree not to engage in any illegal activity. You agree not to engage in disruptive behaviour that interferes with the conduct of the Summit, or any other attendee’s safety or comfort, including any discriminatory behaviour based on age, disability, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, political or institutional affiliation.
 
Adjustment of Ticket/ Fees, Refusal of Admission: The Organisers may review the information provided by you and if, at their sole and absolute discretion, they are of the opinion that (i) the information provided by you has been misrepresented, false, or incorrect; and/ or (ii) you have purchased the wrong ticket category; the Organisers reserve the right to either propose that you purchase an alternative ticket category without refund of the former, or refuse admission to you without refund, at the Organiser’s sole and absolute discretion.
 
Breach of Terms: The Organisers may (i) remove you from the Summit without refund; and/ or (ii) refuse you admittance to the Summit, if the Organisers, in their sole and absolute discretion, are of the opinion that you have engaged in any one of the following:-

• verbal abuse of another participant or the Organiser’s staff;

• inappropriate touching or harming of another participant or the Organiser’s staff;

• breach of these terms or any other agreement entered into in connection with this Summit; or

• where continued participation may affect your health or personal well-being.

Speakers and Exhibitors: Views expressed by speakers and exhibitors are their own. The Organisers shall not be liable for advice given, or views expressed by any speaker and/ or exhibitor, or in any material provided at the Summit.
 
Summit Content: You acknowledge and agree that the Organisers, in its sole discretion, reserve the right to change any part or all aspects of the Summit, including but not limited to, the Summit name, themes, content, program, speakers, emcees, moderators, venue, and time.

 

Personal Data: Your personal data will be collected in the course of your participation in this Summit, including during the registration process, the taking of photos, and/ or the making of recordings during the Summit. You consent to the Organiser’s use of your personal data in connection with the Summit, including the publication of your photos or recordings on media platforms that the Organiser may determine, for the purposes of promoting or reporting the Summit or the Organiser’s future events. You agree that all your intellectual property rights with respect to any photo, video, or any other recording of you taken by the Organiser or its vendors, are assigned to the Organiser. You consent that the Organiser may share your personal data with the Hello Tomorrow Organisation, a global organisation headquartered in Paris, entities licensed by or are entities which are part of the same group as the Hello Tomorrow Organisation, and Hello Tomorrow Asia Pacific’s sponsors and affiliates for statistical analysis, marketing, promotional activities, and/ or research.
 
Disclaimers: The Summit and any services or materials provided the Organisers in connection with this Summit, are made available on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Organisers disclaim all representations, conditions and warranties of any kind, whether implied or otherwise, in relation to this Summit and the services or materials provided in connection with this Summit. Notwithstanding any part of these terms, the Organisers reserve the right to discontinue, terminate, or postpone this Summit at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice.
 
Force Majeure: The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent that such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of god, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control.  
 
Limitation of Liability: In no event will the Organisers be liable to you for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage of any nature whatsoever including but not limited to any loss of profits, loss of revenue, contracts, pure economic loss, loss or corruption of data, loss of opportunity and/ or expectation loss. To the extent that the Organisers may be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any and all losses, damages or liabilities caused or arising from any breach, failure or default to perform any of their obligations (whether arising under these terms or at law), regardless of the number of claims, the Organisers’ aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the aggregate sum of S$200.
 
Severability: The various provisions in these Terms and Conditions are severable and if any provision or identifiable part is held or found to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be deemed to be severed from the provision, but the remainder of the provision shall remain in full force and effect.
 
Governing law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
